About Us

The creators of this site are dedicated to learning more about the Dogue de Bordeaux breed. Our opinion is that there are not nearly enough details about the dog on the internet and so, sadly, people aren’t fully aware of this wonderful breed. So, we decided to provide them with a place to learn more about these dogs. A large portion of our content has been created from owning dogs ourselves and our experience of them throughout the years. Just make sure you don’t consider it scientific or veterinary advice.

Although this breed of dog is adored all over the world, there still isn’t a lot of information about it and the dog’s common traits, leading to a lot of people not being aware of them. Because of this, they can be frightened when meeting this breed due to their large build, but after spending some time with them they quickly fall in love. We think that, other than going out and adopting one for yourself, reading about these dogs is the best way to learn more about them.

We’ll update with information on training, myths and characteristics. Bear with us though, as there’s a lot of content to get through.

Our organisation is completely non-profit so we will not be making any money from this site. If you would like to help out, please think about donating to an animal charity, like Dogs Trust. This will ensure a lot of canines will be able to get suitable shelter, attention, care and food.
